This is only my second Ipsy bag, and so far, $10 a month to try out these products and add to my beauty stash seems to be worth it.
This month’s theme is Over Easy and features Gudetama, the lazy egg. I had never heard of this character, but apparently it’s a thing. I’m not a fan of the bag itself, but my daughter was way into it so it’s going to her.
So what did I get this month:
First, this beautiful highlighter from Nomad. It’s so pretty! I love highlights with a golden tone because I have a medium skin tone and I feel that gold compliments that. I also prefer highlights that aren’t super intense, and this one seems to be buildable rather than super pigmented right off. What you see on my arm below is two sawtches to get that color payoff, which to me is a good thing.
Next, I’m so excited to have received this item from Tarte. It’s the Rainforest of the Sea Deep Dice Cleansing Gel. It smells amazing and reminds me of that fresh ocean scent. Definitely a great inclusion in this bag.
This brush I’m unsure about. I received a brush by So Susan in my Boxycharm before, and I was not a fan if the bristles. It just doesn’t really pick up the product from the pan very well, and these bristles have a similar feel to them. Jury is still out on this.
Lastly, there is an eyeliner pencil with a smudger from Ciate London. I don’t need another black eyeliner because I stocked up on the Rimmel Scandaleyes one from a coupon deal, and that one is awesome! I may give to someone else, so I have kept it packaged up. I still appreciate that I received it.
