I LOVE the little makeup bag that Ipsy included with this month’s subscription. It’s beautiful and feels like a better quality than the other two I’ve received. I usually let my 13 year old daughter have them, but I was like “Nope, this one is mine!” 🙂
This is a really good Ipsy month, in my opinion. Certainly worth the $10. I’m excited about all the products that I received.
The first thing that jumped out at me is this Crown Brush- Medium Face Contour Brush. It feels nice and soft, and I have high hopes that it will be the perfect shape for contouring. I have not used Crown Brushes in the past, so we will see.
Pictured next to the brush is a single shadow/illuminator from theBalm. I like this brand because you can get decent deals on them through Hautelook when available, and their shadows seem to work really well for me. The shade I received is one I will most likely use for an inner corner highlight.
I really like trying face masks, so I was excited about this mask from Formula 10.0.6. I’ve seen this brand before at Ulta, but have not yet tried anything from them. I see the word pores on the front, and I’m sold!! I have combo oily skin so unfortunately I have large pores next to my nose. I will be trying this out ASAP!
Lastly are the two products pictured below. I have a mascara from Makeup Forever, which I’m very happy about. I rarely buy high end mascaras because the drugstore has amazing options. But these mini ones from high end brands are so handy to have. I actually just gave a Dior one to my mom the other day because she ran out of her mascara, and I gave one to my daughter for when we do makeup together. (I don’t let her wear makeup outside of the house yet) These sample sizes are great because they are easier to pack for traveling, plus I can see if it’s something I may consider purchasing in the future.
As I mentioned, I’m very happy with this month’s bag, and I can’t wait to start trying out the products!
